In the Kalisz constituency, there are two ministries on the PiS list: number one is Marlena Maląg, and number two is Katarzyna Sójka. The ranks of the Civic Coalition were strengthened by MP Karolina Pawliczak, who recently represented the Left. She became number two on the list at the expense of the former leader of the KO list, Mariusz Witczak, who was pushed to the low, seventh position. KO’s candidates included, among others: Beata Pałka-Szydło. The similarity of names is, of course, accidental.
District No. 36 covers the following counties: Gostyński, Jarociński, Kalisz, Kępiński, Kościański, Krotoszyński, Leszno, Ostrowski, Ostrzeszów, Pleszewski, Rawice and the cities of Kalisz and Leszno. There are 12 parliamentary seats up for grabs.

The list is opened by the vice-president of Kalisz Grzegorz Kulawinekand the vice president closes Mateusz Podsadny. Kulawinek claims that Nonpartisan Local Government People are opposed to polarization and political duopoly and assures that they are able to cooperate with any party. An issue close to him is the education system, which “today dates back to the times of the inkwell, the times of the Polish People’s Republic and has nothing to do with modern education, a modern approach to the subject of education.” Podsadny would like to deal with public health, health care and preventive research in the Sejm.
The list also includes the head of the municipal management and environmental protection department of the Kalisz city hall Paweł Bąkowskiwho said that the topics closest to his heart would be environmental protection, waste management and energy efficiency.
Also fighting for seats are, among others, the vice-chairman of the Winiary estate council Ewa Witczakacademic teacher and manager of a shelter for homeless animals in Kalisz Jacek Kołata and a coach and physical education teacher at the 4th Secondary School in Kalisz David Matczak.

The “one” of the Third Way is the MP Andrzej Grzyb, vice-president of PSL and former MEP. Right behind him was a councilor from Kalisz Barbara Oliwiecka from Poland 2050.

The leader of the Left’s list for the Sejm is an MP Wiesław Szczepański from Leszno, head of the party’s provincial structures, in 2004–2005 deputy minister of infrastructure.
It is “two”. Anita Świątek, who until now – as she called herself – was “your birth mother” and a district councilor. She works as a midwife in a hospital in Ostrów. Third place went to a former long-time parliamentarian and starosta of Kalisz Leszek Aleksandrzak.

PiS was at the top of the list Marlena Maląg. The Minister of Family and Social Policy is one of the “faces” of the 800 plus programs and the fourteenth pension for seniors. But she also became famous for participating in the consecration of a “new” Volunteer Fire Department vehicle in May 2022. The problem is that the same vehicle has been used for almost three years. Firefighters boarded it for the first time in December 2019. When asked about the repeated blessing of vehicles, Marlena Maląg replied: – You really don’t have anything else to do but look for things that can be called sensational.
“Two” on the list is the new Minister of Health Katarzyna Sójka. When she replaced Adam Niedzielskiit was recalled that in June, when protests in defense of women’s rights took place in Polish cities after the death of 33-year-old Dorota, she stated that “women unfortunately died, are dying and will die”. At the beginning of September, it was widely reported that when driving a private car, hit a cyclist on a pedestrian crossing in Lutogniew near Krotoszyn. The prosecutor’s office is investigating the circumstances of the accident.
He was behind her Jan Dziedziczak, Secretary of State in the Chancellery of the Prime Minister and government representative for the Polish diaspora and Poles abroad. During the first PiS government, he was the government’s press spokesman Jarosław Kaczyński.
The next places are occupied by current MPs Tomasz Ławniczak, Jan Mosiński and Piotr Kaleta.

The Confederation decided to switch places. The leader of the list for the Sejm is an entrepreneur Andrzej Kuświk, president of the local structures of the New Hope party, who closed the party’s list in 2019. He was the leader then Witold Stoch. Now he will start from last place.

The KO list is opened by an MP Jarosław Urbaniak, former president of Ostrów Wielkopolski and deputy secretary general of PO. The MP came second Karolina Pawliczak, who left the ranks of the New Left. Third place went to an MP from Leszno Grzegorz Rusiecki.
Interestingly, it was ranked fifth on the list Beata Pałka-Szydło. She is a 30-year-old accountant from Rawicz, who does not belong to any party. “She has two master’s degrees – in economics and international relations. She completed MBA studies and is currently also studying psychology,” writes Rawicz24.pl. Of course, he has nothing to do with the former prime minister. As we learn from the local portal, the candidate intends to fight for improving the situation in education, women’s rights, as well as for state financing of in vitro fertilization and prenatal tests.
The MP was only in seventh place Mariusz Witczak, the leader of the list from four years ago. Local PO activists told the Polish Press Agency that they predicted that Witczak “would have a bad place on the list, but none of us expected seventh place. This is an obvious slander for him,” they said. In their opinion, he was harmed by the press conference he called a few weeks ago, during which he spoke out against Karolina Pawliczak. When asked whether Pawliczak was invited to run from the list, he stated that he knew nothing about it and it would be better if the parliamentarian returned to the Left.
