“PiS is a master at deceiving Poles. Instead of PiS specifics, there are PiS lies. Their election promises are a catalog of issues they have promised to resolve over the last eight years and have not kept their word,” wrote Jan Grabiec, spokesman for the Civic Platform. He thus commented on another point of the ruling party’s program – a voucher for educational trips for students. “They are trying to trick Poles into doing the same thing again,” he added.

PIS presents further ideas from his election program, calling them “PiS specifics”. On Thursday, the Minister of Education Przemysław Czarnek presented the “School voucher – Get to know Poland”, i.e. co-financing of two-day educational trips for every student in Poland.

Grabiec: instead of PiS facts, there are PiS lies

PO spokesman Jan Grabiec commented on this proposal on X (formerly Twitter). “PiS is a master at deceiving Poles. Instead of PiS specifics, there are PiS lies. Their election promises are a catalog of issues they have promised to deal with over the last eight years and have not kept their word,” he said.

“Insulation of blocks of flats? Food in hospitals? School trips? They couldn’t handle it, and now they are trying to trick Poles into doing the same thing again. They also promised that they would not divert public money into private pockets, and they are doing it very well,” wrote Grabiec.

“PiS can only make promises”

KO MP Arkadiusz Myrcha commented similarly on PiS’s election promise. “First, they pressed the youth with the core curriculum. They have been paying teachers ‘pennies’ salaries for years. They were bombarded with a wave of hate. They introduced a double year group to schools. Class schedules often extend into the evenings. PiS can only make promises. In reality, they are creating a disaster!” – wrote Myrcha.

“We invest in young people so that everyone can proudly refer to their own culture”

Politicians of the ruling party comment positively on the proposal to introduce a “school voucher”. “We invest in young people so that everyone can proudly refer to their own culture and Poland’s achievements! We effectively use the educational potential of many Polish museums, science centers and national parks!” – argued the Minister of Climate and Environment Anna Moskwa.
