The names of Robert Bąkiewicz and Łukasz Mejza on the lists of Law and Justice do not surprise me, because PiS today has views like Bąkiewicz, but morality like Mejza – said in “Kawa na ława” MP from the Left, Katarzyna Kotula, referring to the candidates who were on the announced in the electoral lists of the ruling camp last week. – I wouldn’t vote for him if I was in Radom – said PiS politician Łukasz Schreiber about Bąkiewicz. Presidential advisor Andrzej Zybertowicz, in turn, stated that “I would never include him on the electoral lists.”

Law and Justice presented its electoral lists last week. Among the candidates of the ruling party in the Radom district there will be a representative of Sovereign Poland and former president of the Independence March Association, Robert Bąkiewicz. In the Lubuskie Voivodeship, the candidate of the ruling camp will be Łukasz Mejza.

The case was commented on in “Kawa na ławy” by: MP Katarzyna Kotula (Left Wing), MP Izabela Leszczyna (Civic Coalition), MP Marek Sawicki (Polish People’s Party), MP Stanisław Tyszka (Confederation), MP, member of the Council of Ministers Łukasz Schreiber (Law and Justice) and Andrzej Zybertowicz (the office of President).

Łukasz Schreiber was asked about personnel changes in the PiS front row, including the absence of Michał Dworczyk. – This is the decision of the party authorities. I did not participate in shaping these lists, so I will not tell you the details of each name, but I will tell you a secret that at the end it is the voters who decide who is first, who is second, who is third and who is last. this list. And the numbers are one thing, but how the voters vote is another thing, he said.

– This is truly a team sport and the coach’s job is to organize the team in such a way that it brings the best possible result – added the PiS MP.

When asked about Robert Bąkiewicz’s candidacy, Schreiber admitted that “I wouldn’t vote for him on this list if I was in Radom.” – There are many people on this list. There is Anka Kwiecień, there is Radek Fogiel, (…) Marek Suski. You can choose a very good candidate. It is the voters who will decide whether the man from the seat not taken will become an MP – he emphasized.

– I don’t know this man at all. He’s not one of my friends on my list. He is a man who is running from the same Law and Justice party list. There were apparently some reasons behind his inclusion, he noted.

Leszczyna: Bąkiewicz has a sentence, he is sentenced

– The most important thing, in my opinion, is that PiS invited to its lists fraudsters who preyed on parents of sick children, haters who disclosed children’s data in the context of molestation, female boxers, criminals, homophobes and anti-Semites – said Izabela Leszczyna.

When asked to indicate the names of the people she was referring to, Leszyczna mentioned: “Women’s boxer – Mr. Bąkiewicz has a sentence, is convicted. A convicted person is a criminal. Mr. Mejza he preyed on parents of sick children. Hater – you haven’t heard of such a man, about your councilor from Szczecin? Mr [Dariusz -red.] Matecki”.

Kotula: PiS has Bąkiewicz’s views, but Mejza’s morality

Katarzyna Kotula admitted that “I am not surprised by the names of Bąkiewicz and Mr. Mejza on the lists of Law and Justice, because today Law and Justice has views like Bąkiewicz, but morals like Mr. Mejza.”

– Minister, I wanted to ask if you really don’t have a gag reflex (…) at the thought of being in the same parliamentary club with Mr. Bąkiewicz later – she asked, turning to Łukasz Schreibr.

Sawicki: PiS politicians were kept in check

– The president’s judgments are unexamined and Law and Justice really did not know how these lists would be arranged and who would be in which place, so until the end of the last session of the Sejm, they had to adopt two important laws, which unfortunately are not constitutional and the Tribunal will certainly rule on this in the future Law and Justice and their politicians were kept in check, said MP Marek Sawicki.

He added that “the puzzle that PiS has proposed to us today is a puzzle of various interests within this political environment.” – We know perfectly well that the entire network of foundations and funds was prepared to help some people elections already prepared and they are already ready. They use these funds, he emphasized.

Tyszka: PiS letters are dictated by defense against the Confederation

– These elections basically come down to this and only the result obtained by the Confederation, because the Confederation is against all the parties that are running in these elections, which did very well in the Third Polish Republic – said MP Stanisław Tyszka.

– Where did these Law and Justice lists come from? They are dictated by electoral calculations to defend themselves against the Confederation. If you and the editor take a closer look at how these lists were arranged, it’s like this: Jarosław Kaczyński would probably have been overtaken by Sławomir Mentzen in Warsaw, so he fled to the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship. The Confederation has very strong support in the Świętokrzyskie region. Ziobro was moved to Podkarpacie, where the Confederation is counting on a double-digit, dozen or so percent result, he said.

He noted that “the Confederation is coming to end PiS’s power and prevent Tusk from coming to power.”

Zybertowicz about Bąkiewicz: I would never put him on lists

Andrzej Zybertowicz was asked, among other things, about the presence of people from President Andrzej Duda’s entourage on the PiS lists, including the head of his cabinet, Paweł Szrot. – The President agreed to several people running for office. (…) I don’t know if the president was personally involved in this, but there are various forms of agreement between the Chancellery of the President and the leadership of Law and Justice, and there were probably some arrangements here, he explained.

When asked about Bąkiewicz, Zybertowicz noted that “I would never include him on the electoral lists, but yesterday I participated in a radio broadcast and Deputy Minister of Justice Michał Woś confirmed – if I understood correctly – that he is the candidate of Sovereign Poland.”

– The topic of anti-Semitism and similar nonsense was not included in the broadcast, but he justified it [Woś – red.]that Bąkiewicz, as the organizer of the independence march, contributed to the strong presence of patriotic impulses in Warsaw and for Minister Woś this was an important argument – added Zybertowicz.
