Deciding to start from the list of the Civic Coalition, I was 100 percent convinced. I will lift all this sewage poured on me – assured Michał Kołodziejczak, the leader of Agrounia. – This hurt the rulers, because their goal was for no one to talk to anyone and not to get along – he said. Kołodziejczak also emphasized that “our raison d’état” is the alliance with the US and a strong position in the European Union.
Michał Kołodziejczak, the leader of Agrounia, who will start in elections from the list of the Civic Coalition, organized a press conference on Monday in front of the headquarters of the state television in Warsaw. Representatives of Agrounia accused television employees of propaganda, extremely critical portrayal of Kołodziejczak after the decision to start from the KO lists and “instilling pure hatred in people”.
– When I decided to start together with the Civic Coalition, I was 100 percent convinced of it. I will defend this decision and this decision will be defended by time. Because of what will happen in the next days. I will bear all this sewage poured on me – said Kołodziejczak.
He also referred to allegations of his alleged “agent” cooperation with Russia. – Let me just recall the story about this agent, about how bad Kołodziejczak is, how Russia influences him and who knows what. Last year, in October, when I had already seen what was happening in the media, I applied to the Internal Security Agency with a request for counterintelligence protection. Between Christmas and New Year’s, I was interrogated by officers in the Internal Security Agency for several hours. After these talks, they said that there were no suspicions – said the leader of Agrounia. – That is why today anyone who says such words is simply an enemy of normal neighborly relations in Poland – he stressed.
Kołodziejczak: the alliance with the US and a strong position in the EU are our raison d’état
– No one will question the fact that Poland’s alliance with the United States, a strong position Poland in the European Union this is normal. This is also our raison d’état – to live well with the United States, to live well with the European Union. To have a strong position there and to have something to say – said Kołodziejczak.
Therefore, he added, Agrounia entered the KO list. – And it hurt so much. Because idee fixe and in general, the goal of those who govern was that no one would talk to anyone and not get along – said the leader of Agrounia.
In the next part of the conference, Kołodziejczak and other representatives of Agrounia answered questions from several state television employees. Later, Oskar Szafarowicz, an activist of Law and Justice, also asked questions.
