More and more stars speak out about the fact that they suffer from depression. In this way, they try to tame this disease and encourage other people struggling with it not to be afraid to seek help. About difficult times related to treatment depression in an interview with Agnieszka Matracka from the series “I'm getting off” she said Paulla. The singer still remembers the moment when she realized that she couldn't cope on her own.
Paulla suffered from depression. One moment made her seek help
In an interview with the website Paulla admitted that the topic of depression is still slightly simplified in the public debate. As she said, she didn't realize it herself until the disease also affected her. The singer remembers the situation when she realized that she couldn't cope anymore. At one point she considered taking her own life. – I went for a walk and felt so overwhelmed by everything that I thought to myself, what it would be like if I wasn't there – Paulla recalls. The singer decided that this was the moment when she should reach out for help. – I came home, I saw my son and a light went on in my head, because if I have such thoughts, it means that it's already very bad – she said.
In the same conversation, Paulla also explained why she decided to speak out about depression. – Before I got sick, I imagined that depression was just a worse condition. (…) And now I can confidently say that it is a terrible disease that slowly kills you – he emphasizes. – She's very dangerous. Paulla is back with a Christmas song. It has a unique meaning
Depression is not the only hardship Paulla has gone through in recent years. The singer fell ill with cancer and said goodbye to her beloved father. After going through painful experiences, she decided to return to the stage and recorded a Christmas song titled “The Magic of Beautiful Christmas”. As it turns out, the song, which was very warmly received, hides a moving story. In a recent conversation in “Good morning TVN” Paulla revealed that the author of the song created it for her cousin living in the United States, who suffered from a rare cancer. The plan was to create an English version of the song. Unfortunately, the girl died. – We didn't make it in time. We thought it was just meant to be. She was very happy that we recorded this song – said the singer.
