Paweł Borys remains the head of the Polish Development Fund

The current president of the Polish Development Fund, Paweł Borys, announced on Friday that he will hold this position until a successor is selected. No candidacy was submitted in the competition for the position of president.

As Borys wrote on the X platform, on Friday the PFR Supervisory Board closed the competition for the position of president of the PFR Group, which had been ongoing for 3 weeks, without a result. No nominations were received.

Borys added that due to this and in accordance with the provisions of the PFR Group’s statute regarding the requirement to appoint a president for the proper operation of the management board, at the request and in consultation with the Supervisory Board, he will continue to serve as president despite the end of his term. This will last until a new president is elected, he noted.

On November 10, Paweł Borys announcedthat at the end of the term, i.e. at the end of 2023, the PFR Management Board will resign from managing the Fund. He is also to step down from the position of head of the Supervisory Board of BGK. Borys became the president of PFR on May 1, 2016. The Polish Development Fund is a financial group offering instruments for the development of enterprises, local governments and private individuals, investing in the sustainable social and economic development of the country.
