The president does not sign any documents related to ambassadors. It is as if he refused to perform his office – said Paweł Kowal (Civic Coalition), head of the parliamentary foreign affairs committee, in “Fakty po Faktach”.
The Sejm Foreign Affairs Committee on Wednesday gave a positive opinion the candidacy of KO senator and former Minister of National Defense Bogdan Klich for ambassador to USA.

The head of the commission, Paweł Kowal (Civic Coalition), referred to this issue in “Fakty po Faktach”. – I believe that the president should verify his position, because we are dealing with a real presidential strike – he said.
– I am responsible for a small part of these procedures, or rather not me, but the entire commission. The point is for Poland to be represented. The president does not sign any documents related to ambassadors. It is as if he refused to perform the office of president – he stated.
Speaking about Klich, Kowal said that “he is an experienced politician who has been dealing with international relations for practically his entire professional career”. – Others will also go, because there is a need. This is about the raison d'état. This is about Poland's security. This is about serious matters – he emphasized.
The Committee also gave a positive opinion on the candidacy of Zenon Kosiniak-Kamysz for the Polish Ambassador to Austria and Aleksander Pociej as ambassador, permanent representative of the Republic of Poland to the Council of Europe.
