Dariusz Joński from the Civic Coalition, referring in “Fakty po Faktach” on TVN24 to the case of money allocated to the foundation associated with Paweł Kukiz, said that it could be hidden money for Kukiz’s election campaign. According to Stanisław Tyszka, currently an MP from the Confederation, and in the past one of the creators of Kukiz’15, “Mateusz Morawiecki could have committed a crime of abuse of power by transferring this money.”

Foundation “You can Poland!” associated with Paweł Kukiz, thanks to Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, she received PLN 4.3 million. The head of government issued an order in this matter 10 days after Kukiz complained in the media that he had no money for political activity. To the questions asked by the TVN24 reporter Radomir Wit, the Government Information Center replied that “the offer met the formal requirements set out in the provisions of the Act” and “the commissioning of this task was justified by the reasons for increasing the awareness and knowledge of citizens in the field of direct democracy”. Members of the Civic Coalition Michał Szczerba and Dariusz Joński submitted a request for a subsidy interpellation to Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki.

This matter was addressed in Wednesday’s “Facts after Facts” by Dariusz Joński from KO and Stanisław Tyszka, currently a member of the Confederation circle, former deputy speaker of the Sejm, for years politically closely associated with Paweł Kukiz.

Joński: this may be hidden money for Kukiz’s election campaign

Joński was asked what he thought was the essence of the political agreement between Paweł Kukiz and the ruling camp.

– I think that Paweł Kukiz expressed it many times. He said at press conferences that he would stop supporting the party (Jaroslaw) Kaczynski and on February 10, something changed. On February 10, Prime Minister Morawiecki signed the order (…), and then four million three hundred (thousand) were transferred. From that moment, Kukiz began to say that he would run from the lists PiS he replied.

– I dare say that this may be hidden money for Kukiz’s election campaign, it is unbelievable – continued the KO MP.

Joński: how to call it other than political corruption?

When asked if he thought it could be called political corruption, he replied: – What else would you call it? If he is to run on the PiS list and receives public money from the prime minister – of course not him, but ours – public money, then for what?

– Building this protective umbrella over members, PiS politicians, on the other hand, building a law that is supposed to protect them and build a sense of impunity, and on the third hand, transferring money lightly shows what they are capable of de facto – said the MP from the Civic Coalition.

Tyszka: My ways with Kukiz parted when he started supporting the PiS government

Tyszka spoke about the circumstances of the end of political cooperation with Kukiz.

– My paths with Paweł Kukiz parted when he decided to support the PiS government. I believe that this government is harmful to Poland on many levels. I think that he (Kukiz) no longer wants to fight for the things we fought for, for which I want to continue to fight and fight in the Confederation, that is, to end the era of Kaczyński and (Donald) Tusk. That these gentlemen would go on to this well-deserved or undeserved retirement, that they would stop buying Poles’ votes with their own money with all those election sausages, he said.

– Paweł Kukiz believes that Jarosław Kaczyński is slightly better than Donald Tusk. I think they both should retire.

Tyszka: Morawiecki could have committed a crime of abuse of power

– I encourage all Kukiz’15 voters to support the Confederation at this time. As for the money donated to the foundation, the Confederation has been repeating for years that the riverbed needs to be liquidated. That is, we do not agree that there is any budget reserve, this is money hard earned by Poles – he pointed out.

According to Stanisław Tyszka “Mateusz Morawiecki he could have committed a crime of abuse of power by transferring this money.” – It is not his money that he can transfer it to someone – emphasized Tyszka. He added that Morawiecki, “certainly with the consent of the informal head of Poland, i.e. Jarosław Kaczyński, has the money of Poles” .

Kukiz: this is a project I’ve been talking about with the prime minister for a year

The leader of Kukiz’15 was asked on Wednesday morning in the Third Program of Polish Radio about the money allocated to the foundation’s initiative. – This is a project that I have been talking about with the Prime Minister for at least a year, about the need to educate Polish society in the field of (…) democratic institutions – he argued. Kukiz said that “this is a project that the foundation manages.” – The Foundation does not raise a single penny, any 10 percent and so on for running this project – he added.
