The Belarusian oppositionist, Pavel Latushka, informed that her husband joined the Belarusian athlete Kryscina Cimanouska on Thursday. Zdaniewicz left Belarus after his wife announced on Sunday that she had been removed from participating in the Tokyo Olympics due to criticism of her country’s sports authorities and that officials tried to force her to return to Belarus.

Cimanouska’s husband made the decision to leave in half an hour

On Monday, the Ukrainian media reported that Zdaniewicz came from Belarus to Ukraine. In an interview with the Ukrainian editorial office of the BBC, the 25-year-old informed that he made the decision to go abroad in half an hour.

Latushka, the former Belarusian ambassador to Poland, is in Warsaw and heads the National Anti-Crisis Board, one of the structures of the Belarusian opposition.
