Minister of Justice and Attorney General Adam Bodnar announced that he would present information on Pegasus surveillance at the next session of the Sejm in April. He also referred to the announced procedure for notifying people who were on the list of “Pegasus victims”.

Adam Bodnar said on March 11 in “Fakty po Faktach” on TVN24 that he was “working with Minister Tomasz Siemoniak to prepare the first list of people who will be notified that they were victims of Pegasus.” – I think that in the coming weeks, maybe even days, these people will be notified individually – he added.

When asked on Tuesday in the parliamentary corridor whether this procedure had already started, he replied that “we are still auditing those matters regarding which we can disclose information to interested persons.” – Please be patient. There is a lot going on and not everything can be done right at once, he added.

Information about Pegasus surveillance in the Sejm

The Minister of Justice and Attorney General was also asked about the date of presenting information to the Sejm on the scale of Pegasus surveillance. He replied that at the next session of the Sejm, i.e. after Easter. It was scheduled for April 10-12.

Bodnar, when asked whether he would present specific numbers then, said: “I think they will even appear earlier, because I have to present the appropriate Sejm form in the form of information beforehand” – So it will be earlier, and the Sejm will only be a commentary on it. – added.

The minister announced earlier that he planned to ask the Speaker of the Sejm, Szymon Hołownia, if he could present statistical information on operational control, including Pegasus, to the Sejm.
