Peja gave up alcohol 15 years ago. “Alcohol no longer runs my life. I run it”
Peja wrote on Instagram that exactly 15 years ago he decided to end his alcoholism. He emphasized that thanks to the decision he made, many good things happened in his life. The rapper noted that stopping drinking does not solve all problems, but you need to learn to deal with them.
Sobriety is, in my opinion, a process of accepting the fact that alcohol will not disappear from the face of the earth just because I became an alcoholic. Sobriety is a process of dealing with difficult situations when alcohol comes my way. But also on drawing conclusions
– he wrote. The rapper emphasized that due to his profession, he often deals with alcohol and it is impossible to escape from it. He addedthat this is no longer any kind of test for himbecause he made a conscious decision to give up alcohol.
Alcohol no longer rules my life. I'm the one who runs it. Even though it often feels like I'm not leading at all. It's a matter of the day's disposition. What I wish for myself is not perseverance but serenity
– he emphasized.

Peja summed up 15 years of sobriety. “If miracles happen, it happened to me too”
Later in the entry, the rapper clearly stated that giving up alcohol was the best decision he could have made. He is not drawn to his old lifestyle, he left it behind a long time ago and is now very happy with where he is.
Drinking is only loss in every respect. They see it every weekend, at every concert, in front of every club and pub. It's not my thing anymore. If miracles do happen, it happened to me too, because I didn't expect such a scenario
“Not myself I knowwhat to add at the end. 30 years on stage, half of them pure. If I hadn't stopped then, you might not be reading this today, because I would simply cease to exist. Life is fragile and flies by fast. I didn't sign up to be a caricature of myself either. That's why I am. Here and now. “Fifteen,” he concluded.
