A car drove into a campsite in Pembrokeshire, Wales, on the night of Saturday to Sunday, local police said. Nine people were injured, two of them seriously.
The driver of the Ford Fiesta most likely lost control of the vehicle and drove off the road, then crashed into tents and a group of people set up close to the roadside. There is no fence or other protection between the road and the campsite.
Nine people were injured, five were taken to hospitals. Two are in serious condition. The driver and passengers of the car were also among the injured.
The owner of the campsite, quoted by the BBC, said that, given the course of the accident, the number of injured could have been much higher.
