There is no shortage of those, as the deputy prime minister says, who are competent and who belong to parties that are part of the ruling coalition – as Wirtualna Polska calculates. Among them was the vice president NIK Mieczysław Łuczak, and even earlier for three terms PSL MP and member of the defense committee. Recently he wanted to become a councilor of the Third Way, but he failed – but he managed to get to the Supervisory Board of the Nitro-Chem company.

Another prominent PSL MP with ministerial experience, Eugeniusz Grzeszczak, found his place in Wojskowe Zakłady Lotnicze No. 1. Although, according to Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa, party affiliation “did not matter at all”.

Andrzej Szczurko, who is also the chairman of the District Council of Nowa Lewica in Kętrzyn, became a member of the supervisory board of Wojskowe Zakłady Głosności No. 1.

For the president of Mesko, a key player for Polish army manufacturer of ammunition and rockets, as PGZ writes, the best candidate was selected among those applying for this position – this person turned out to be Renata Gruszczyńska, councilor of the Civic Coalition from Kielce, previously the head of the city's greenery company.

– I don't know this person. I am convinced that there was a competition for this position. If no one questions the competition or the composition of the commission, then everyone has the right to be elected to such a position – says Michał Szczerba, MEP of the Civic Coalition.

The Commission is working on a law on “repairing corporate governance”

However, it is not only in the arms industry that people close to power can be found. The Left dominated the Volunteer Labor Corps, the People's Party dominated the National Agriculture Support Center, and the Civic Coalition dominated the Special Economic Zones. In all 14, “Wirtualna Polska” counted about 20 people associated with the ruling parties.

– If we counted all the management boards and supervisory boards in special economic zones, there would be several hundred people there, so it is not a sensation – says the Minister of Development and Technology, Krzysztof Paszyk from PSL.

Before the elections, another coalition party – Poland 2050 – directly announced the end of political appointees, and when it came to power, it submitted a draft law on “repairing corporate governance in companies with State Treasury shareholding”.

After eight months of discussions and four meetings of a subcommittee specially established for this purpose, the title of the act has already been discussed.
