Pensioners whose benefit payment deadline falls on November 1 will receive their pensions and annuities in October – reminded the Social Insurance Institution. People whose benefit payment deadline falls on Sunday, November 10, will also receive money earlier.
Social Insurance Institution pension benefits are paid on several dates: 1, 6, 10, 15, 20, and 25 of the month. If the benefit payment deadline falls on a day statutorily recognized as a non-working day or on a Saturday, the benefit is paid earlier.
Retirement in advance
“Therefore, people who should receive their benefits on November 1 will receive the money in advance as usual. Pensions and annuities delivered by postmen will be delivered to the post office on October 28. However, benefits that are transferred to the account will be sent to banks on October 30, and in the case of benefits transferred to bank accounts abroad on October 29,” ZUS reported.
Seniors whose payment is due will also receive their benefits earlier pensions whether the annuity is due on November 10. They will also receive money in advance. On November 5, ZUS will transfer funds to the post office, and will make transfers to bank accounts on November 7, while benefits will be transferred to bank accounts abroad on November 6.
ZUS encourages seniors who still receive their benefits via post to consider choosing a safe form of transferring pensions or annuities. The banking ratio of long-term benefits paid by the Institution is currently 79.4%.
