Pepco recalls children's scooters

The Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK) announced a campaign to withdraw children's scooters from Pepco stores. The chain informed the office that the product “was not durable enough.”

“Out of concern for the safety of our customers and due to the failure to meet Pepco's high standards, we have decided to withdraw the product,” Pepco said in a message posted on its website.

“As a result of the tests carried out, it was found that the product does not meet the requirements of the EN 71-1 standard, Part 1. Mechanical and physical properties,” it added.

The chain asks you to return the product and provides a full refund for its purchase.

“The return can be made at any Pepco store. A receipt is not required,” it said.
