The radio station said that the reason for this situation is numerous roadblocks and the paralysis of major transport hubs in the city Peruorganized by people supporting a left-wing politician. According to the radio report, among those heading on foot to Chile tourists are people who have given up their stay in the south of Peru, which is engulfed by numerous riots. There have been 48 deaths in the country since December.

Authorities in the southern Peruvian city of Tacna said thousands of tourists had left in recent days due to the riots. – Before the outbreak of the riots, there were 20,000 vacationers in the city every day.
