Philadelphia hospital capturing suspect nabbed; 2 officers shot

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — An individual was shot inside a hospital in Philadelphia early Monday morning, the suspect fled the scene, after which two officers and the suspect have been wounded in a shootout, police informed information shops.

The preliminary capturing occurred inside Thomas Jefferson College Hospital simply after midnight, native tv stations reported. The suspect then left the scene, prompting a manhunt by legislation enforcement.

Authorities situated the suspect a short while later and a shootout erupted. Police informed the information shops that two officers have been shot and the suspect was wounded. The suspect was then taken into custody. The officers’ accidents weren’t thought of life-threatening.

The individual shot on the hospital was later pronounced {dead}, WPVI-TV reported.
