In Piaseczno, near Warsaw, a four-year-old brought a burnt joint to kindergarten. It turned out to belong to his father, who had celebrated his birthday two days earlier.
The director of one of the kindergartens in Piaseczno appeared at the headquarters of the District Police Headquarters in Piaseczno and informed about a disturbing incident at her facility.
– It turned out that one of her children brought a burnt joint to kindergarten instead of a toy. Crime branch officers were immediately dispatched to the scene. It turned out that the cigarette butt contained trace amounts of marijuana – described senior midshipman Magdalena Gąsowska, spokeswoman for the police in Piaseczno.

The next steps were taken by the officers to the house of the boy’s parents. There they found the father of a four-year-old who was clearly surprised by the police’s visit.
– The 35-year-old admitted that the joint found in the kindergarten was his property. However, he was unable to explain how it ended up in his son’s hands. He added that he celebrated his birthday two days ago and on this occasion he decided to smoke marijuana, but it was a one-off incident. During the search, the police discovered another, also burnt joint in the laundry basket, the spokeswoman further said.
The man has already been charged with possession of narcotic drugs, and the proceedings in the case are under the supervision of the District Prosecutor’s Office in Piaseczno.
