Police officers from Piaseczno detained a man suspected of possessing a large amount of narcotics. In the apartment belonging to the 35-year-old, the officers found: marijuana, mephedrone, amphetamine, pipes and scales. The man was also wanted to serve a sentence of four years in prison.
Police officers from Piaseczno determined the whereabouts of a 35-year-old man who was wanted not only to serve a prison sentence, but also because – according to investigators – he was dealing in drugs.
– The officers directed their steps to the man’s residence, where they revealed marijuana, amphetamine, mephedrone and MDMA. The following items were also secured: scales, glass pipes, and a mobile phone – Magdalena GÄ…sowska, spokeswoman for the Piaseczno police told us.
He was charged and sent to prison
The investigation in this case is conducted by the District Prosecutor’s Office in Piaseczno. – The 35-year-old has already been charged with possession of a significant amount of narcotics, which, according to the act, is punishable by up to 10 years in prison. The court agreed with the request of the District Prosecutor’s Office in Piaseczno and decided to pre-trial detention for three months, Szymon Banna, spokesman for the District Prosecutor’s Office in Warsaw, told us.
In addition, the arrested man will spend nearly four years in prison based on the sentences of the District Court in Piaseczno, Olkusz and Grójec for crimes committed earlier.
The man was known to law enforcement. He was arrested for drugs and property damage.
