A 24-year-old Azerbaijani citizen behind the wheel of a Ford Mustang tried to impress with his driving “skills”, risking his own and other people's safety. In the store parking lot, he barely missed a parked car and a man recording his actions with a phone.
Police officers from the District Police Headquarters in Piaseczno are fighting the problem of drifting in parking lots in front of shopping centers. In their opinion, this is a serious threat that is sometimes treated as harmless entertainment.
He almost hit the person filming it
– These irresponsible behaviors carry risks. The latest case only confirms this. A 24-year-old Azerbaijani citizen, behind the wheel of a Ford Mustang, tried to impress others with his driving “skills”, risking his own safety and that of others. The drifting was recorded by the store's surveillance cameras, which clearly show how, in front of bystanders, the driver barely avoids another vehicle and almost hits the person filming these stunts – described the spokeswoman for the Piaseczno police, senior midshipman Magdalena Gąsowska.
As she assured, Piaseczno officers reacted immediately, and the driver had to pay a fine of PLN 5,000 for his dangerous maneuvers.
According to the police, such behavior is an expression of thoughtlessness and recklessness. Officers remind you that parking lots and public roads are not places for dangerous maneuvers or testing your driving skills. – We appeal to young drivers to think about the consequences of their actions. What would happen if something went wrong during such a maneuver? If someone were injured or even killed, would they still approach such games with ignorance and lightness? – the spokeswoman finally wonders.
