– Police officers from the Piaseczno traffic department encounter various offenses committed by drivers. However, what they had to deal with recently stunned the uniformed officers themselves – says the spokeswoman of the Piaseczno police and informs about a motorcyclist who set out on a trip drunk. The man had a helmet with him, but he didn't put it on, it served him for something else.

In the town of Rembertów, police officers from the Piaseczno traffic police noticed a motorcycle driver who was riding without a helmet.

– The police stopped the driver for inspection to remind him how important it is to take care of his own safety. To their surprise, the driver had a helmet, but it served a completely different purpose. Namely, the 57-year-old was transporting empty beer bottles in it. One could say that glass bottles were of greater value to him than his own health and life – comments Magdalena Gąsowska, spokeswoman for the Piaseczno police.

– As if that were not enough, it turned out that the driver's sobriety also left much to be desired. A breathalyzer test showed that he had over the permille of alcohol in his exhaled air. The man had to continue on foot, while the motorcycle was handed over to the person indicated by the man with a receipt, he adds.
