“Police officers, but also other services, respond to every report they receive. Unfortunately, there are also false ones among them, in which the stories presented by the reporting people have nothing to do with reality. Engaging police officers, as it turns out, in completely unnecessary reports, blocks the provision of help to those who really need it at the moment. This was also the case that night, when one of the inhabitants of Piaseczno reported something that was not there “- informs Magdalena Gąsowska, spokeswoman for the Piaseczno police, quoted in the press release.

She added that the woman called the emergency number three times. She claimed to have been the victim of a crime.

“After receiving the report, the officers immediately went to the address indicated. When they arrived, they could not contact the applicant in any way. The woman not only did not open the door to the apartment, but also did not answer the phone from the duty officer of the Piaseczno command, who tried to contact her,” she said.

Eventually, the officers managed to get into the premises. The reporting person, as described by the spokeswoman, greeted the police with the words “I don’t remember what I reported, but right now I want to cancel it”.
