One of the residents notified the police from Piastów that he had been hit by an unknown man. The brutal beating took place on August 10 near the train station in Piastów.
– An unknown man allegedly accosted a passing couple who were returning home from the train. The verbal altercation ended with aggression on the part of the perpetrator, who fled after the brutal attack – informed in a statement Asp. Monika Orlik from the District Police Headquarters in Pruszków.
The report was filed the next day. The police had a fragmentary and incomplete description, but they managed to identify a potential perpetrator.

One and a half years in prison for another case
A 29-year-old man, a resident of Warsaw, was detained in the case. – It also turned out that he will spend over a year and a half in prison first, due to the sentence previously imposed by the Warsaw court – Orlik added.
As she said, the man was also charged with theft from a drugstore, which he committed while being a recidivist.
In connection with the incident of August 10, he was charged with causing bodily harm to a resident of Piastów. – The detainee admitted to committing the crimes – the policewoman reported. The case of theft and bodily harm is supervised by the District Prosecutor's Office in Pruszków.
