Picnic refueling cheaper than last year

– We can expect more reductions this week fuel prices. Prices of euro gasoline Super 95 are about PLN 5.88 per liter. 98 octane gasoline costs 6.66 PLN/l, diesel 5.94 gr/l, and the price of autogas is an average level of 3.04 PLN/l – the expert said on Monday.

She pointed out that current prices are extremely low. – Compared to last year's picnic for euro gasoline Super 95, we pay over 80 groszy less, for diesel over 77 grosze less, for 98 octane gas 64 gr less. Bills for refueling during this period (this year's May – ed.) Should be clearly lower – said Cieślak.

She noted, however, that autogas will be more expensive by 20 grosze than a year ago. She estimated that “this price level is still attractive compared to the alternative prices of 95 gasoline price” – she said.

According to Cieślak, lower fuel prices should persist. – raw material prices have stabilized, stabilized zloty quotation In relation to the dollar, and consequently on the wholesale market, prices remain relatively stable – she noted, adding that only minor corrections on the wholesale market are observed.

– From the beginning of the week to the end of the May weekend, we will observe a delicate decrease (fuel prices – ed.) On a scale comparable to the one from the last week, i.e. at 4-5 gros per liter. In the near future there is no change in this downward trend – the expert assessed.

Cieślak also reminded that when looking for major savings, drivers should remember that by refueling at the highway they will pay “definitely more” than at the local station. – It is also worth following promotions announced by the station operators, because it will allow you to refuel even cheaper – she pointed out.
