A 27-year-old woman who was stopped in Piekary Śląskie by a policeman on vacation had more than four per mille of alcohol in her body. The woman collided with three parked cars and ended her journey by hitting a tree.
The incident took place on November 20 after 6 p.m. A policeman from the Piekary traffic police, who was not on duty, noticed a car on Śląska Street that had hit a tree. While checking if the people inside the vehicle needed help, he detected a strong odor of alcohol coming from the driver.
More than four per mille in the body
According to the police in Piekary Śląskie, the officer detained the driver and notified his colleagues about the incident. “It turned out that the 27-year-old woman had caused a collision with three other parked cars moments earlier. She had over four per mille of alcohol in her body and did not have a driving license. Fortunately, the driver and passenger were not injured,” we read in the release.
For driving under the influence of alcohol, the 27-year-old faces up to three years in prison, a long-term driving ban and a high fine.
