A man was hit and killed on the service road. The perpetrator drove away and an alarm was announced in the Ostróda police. The search is ongoing.
On Monday, December 25, after 8 p.m., the officer on duty of the Ostróda police unit was notified that a man had been hit on a service road near Piławki in the Miłomłyn commune.
Witnesses reported that he was unconscious but showed vital signs. Resuscitation measures were initiated. Unfortunately, the man could not be saved. He did not have any identification document with him.
They established the identity of the victim
The police patrol, investigation team and forensic technician working at the scene of the incident secured traces proving that the vehicle had hit the vehicle.
The police have already established the identity of the accident victim, a 37-year-old resident of the Zalewo commune.
In connection with the incident, the district police commander in Ostróda announced an alarm for the entire Ostróda police unit. The search is still ongoing.
