A 35-year-old woman from Piotrków Trybunalski (Łódź Voivodeship), who was carrying her 6-year-old daughter in her car, had more than two per mille of alcohol in her body and caused a collision with another vehicle. The court will decide the woman’s fate. She faces up to two years in prison.
The incident took place on October 10 in Piotrków Trybunalski. The police officer on duty received a report from a witness who was driving behind a person in a Skoda and suspected that the driver of the car was under the influence of alcohol.

When the police patrol was going to the intervention regarding the Skoda reported by the witness, they received information that there had been a collision at the intersection of Wojska Polskiego and Stronczyńskiego streets, with the participation of this car. – The Skoda was driven by a 35-year-old resident of Piotrków. The woman, driving along Stronczyńskiego Street, wanting to turn left, passing a red light, did not give way to a Volkswagen that was driving correctly and caused a collision. Her 6-year-old child was traveling with the woman in the vehicle. After examining the 35-year-old woman, it turned out that she had over two per mille of alcohol in her body, said Asp. staff.
