The heads of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of National Defense reacted on Friday with comments on the attitude of right-wing politicians in the context of Polish-American relations. Radosław Sikorski wrote about the “licking and informing behavior of some Polish politicians” and said it was an “exaggeration”, and Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz emphasized that “only Polish women and men decide on the shape of the government in Poland.”

Tarczyński about materials that were supposed to be sent to Trump
Law and Justice MEP Dominik Tarczyński said on Thursday in an interview with the wPolityce portal that Donald Trump received materials containing negative statements about him from people associated with the current power camp in Poland.

Reaction of government representatives
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Radosław Sikorski, and the Minister of National Defense wrote about Polish-American relations on Friday Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz.
“The whole world, regardless of sympathy, is establishing relations with the new US president. But the licking and informing behavior of some Polish politicians is an exaggeration,” Sikorski wrote on the X platform.
The head of the Ministry of National Defense spoke in a similar tone. “The opposition's suggestion of a change of government in Poland under the influence of the US elections and reporting to allies is completely absurd. Only Polish women and men decide on the shape of the government in Poland,” wrote Kosiniak-Kamysz.
In recent days, PiS politicians, including the former head of the Ministry of National Defense Mariusz Błaszczakare currently attacking those in power, claiming, among other things, that if Trump wins, Donald Tusk should resign.
The Prime Minister referred to them on Thursday, stating that Błaszczak spoke “irreverently”.
