PKO BP, Bank Pekao, Santander, ING Bank Śląski, BNP Paribas, Velobank and Nest Bank – customers of these banks must prepare for difficulties due to service work in the coming days. In some cases, there may be problems with payments or access to the online service.
PKO BP
Customers of PKO BP, the largest bank in Poland, must prepare for difficulties.
As stated in the announcement, on Sunday, September 22, 2024 from 00:00 to 12:00 it will not be possible to use:
– from the iPKO and iPKO biznes internet and telephone services, – the open banking function (Open Banking), – payments in online stores using the “Pay with iPKO” service.
During the break, the iPKO Biznes mobile application will be unavailable, and the IKO application will only allow you to withdraw money from ATMs and pay in stationary and online stores only using Blik.
As reported, “all cards will work in ATMs and stationary stores”. “As part of the protection of online payments with the 3D-Secure 2 card, only authorization with an SMS code and card PIN will be available. If you can, please make all important transactions in advance. We apologize for the inconvenience,” the bank informed.
Pekao Bank
Bank Pekao has also scheduled maintenance work in the coming days. Customers should expect disruptions on 23.09 (Monday) between 1:00 and 5:00.
According to the bank, at that time:
– it will not be possible to log in to the Pekao24 service and the PeoPay application and the eTrader Pekao platform, – it will not be possible to use BLIK in the PeoPay application, – it will not be possible to order a transfer from a credit card, – it will not be possible to complete an online transaction using the 3-D Secure code, – customers may encounter difficulties in using their debit card, ATMs and payment terminals of our bank, – the PeoPay KIDS application will also be unavailable.
“Plan all such operations in advance,” the bank appealed.
Santander Bank Poland
Some Santander Bank Polska services will also be unavailable during the weekend.
From Friday, September 20 to Saturday, September 21, from 11:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. the following services will be unavailable: online banking, instant transfers (Express Elixir, BlueCash), payments in online stores (Przelew24), Blik and the Santander currency exchange office.
Some functions will remain partially available. “You can check your account balance from before the break. You can also block your card and check the list of purchased tickets or parking,” the bank said.
“You can pay by card in stores and online. You can deposit and withdraw cash,” the bank said.
ING Bank Śląski
“On the night from Sunday to Monday (September 22-23) between midnight and 3:00 a.m. maintenance work is planned. As a result, there may be problems with executing transactions on ING/Planet Cash network devices,” the bank's statement reads.
“Transactions in drop boxes can be made offline. We apologize for the inconvenience,” it added.
mBank
“On September 22, Blik will conduct development work on its systems. For this reason, you will not be able to make a transfer to a Blik phone from 00:00 to 12:00,” mBank said in a statement.
“During this time, our other services will operate as usual, e.g. you can order a transfer or pay by card,” we read.
BNP Paribas
“We would like to inform you that on 21.09.2024 from 00:00 to 06:00 the www.bnpparibas.pl service will be unavailable due to scheduled maintenance work. During the break, access to transaction systems will be possible, hotline numbers and card blocking numbers will be presented,” reads BNP Paribas in a statement.
Velobank
Velobank has scheduled a maintenance break on the night of Saturday 21 to Sunday 22 September from 11:50 p.m. to 6:40 a.m.
– log in to mobile and online banking, – make a transfer, – use BLIK, – online card payments may be difficult.
“On Sunday, September 22 from 00:00 to 12:00, Blik has scheduled maintenance work. During this time, you will not be able to make transfers to your phone using the BLIK service in any bank,” we read.
Nest Bank
“On September 22 (Sunday) from 0:30 to 7:00 our online banking and mobile application will be completely unavailable,” the bank said in a statement. It will not be possible to log in to online banking and the mobile application, change limits in electronic banking, use Blik or Visa Mobile, confirm payments for online card purchases using electronic banking, pay in an online store using a payment link or change payment limits in electronic banking.
During this time, it will be possible to pay by card, also using Apple Pay, Google Pay and a watch or wristband (Fitbit, Garmin Pay) in stationary stores, as well as deposit and withdraw cash from ATMs using a payment card.
