Jan Emeryk Rościszewski has resigned from the position of the bank’s president, the bank PKO BP announced.
“The Management Board of PKO Bank Polski (” Bank “) informs that on October 14, 2021, Mr. Jan Emeryk Rościszewski resigned from the position of the President of the Management Board of the Bank, as well as from the composition of the Management Board of the Bank as of October 22, 2021.” – we read in the bank’s stock exchange communiqué.

Rościszewski was the president of PKO BP from June 2021. He replaced Zbigniew Jagiełło, who was the bank’s president since October 2009.
The journalist of Radio Zet, Mariusz Gierszewski, announced on Thursday that according to unofficial information, Jan Emeryk Rościszewski resigned as president, and the bank’s supervisory board is to entrust his duties to Iwona Duda, president of Alior Bank. As stated, Rafał Antczak and Jakub Papierski are still to be dismissed from the board.
