The supervisory board of PKP Cargo suspended CEO Dariusz Seliga “for important reasons”. She entrusted the duties of the president to Maciej Jankiewicz, a member of the management board for financial matters, the company announced in a statement on Thursday.
“The Management Board of PKP Cargo SA (…) informs that on February 1, 2024, the Supervisory Board of PKP Cargo made the following decisions: for important reasons, suspends the President of the Management Board of PKP Cargo SA, Mr. Dariusz Seliga; for important reasons, suspends a member of Management Board for Operations of PKP Cargo SA, Mr. Marek Olkiewicz,” the announcement said.

As added, the supervisory board “entrusts the performance of the duties of the President of the Management Board of PKP Cargo SA to Mr. Maciej Jankiewicz, a member of the management board responsible for finance of PKP Cargo SA, in connection with the suspension of the President of the Management Board of PKP Cargo SA, Mr. Dariusz Seliga.”
