Huawei Freebuds 4 Pro – what did I like the most?

As for the construction itself, the manufacturer used two types of transducers – dynamic with a diameter of 11 mm and z tweeter with planar membrane (6 mm). There was also an improved digital division algorithm and a triple adaptive equalizer.
In my humble opinion, FreeBuds 4 Pro is the best -playing TWS headphones that I had the opportunity to test over the past several months. They fall better than Google Pixel Buds 2, Jabra Elite 10 or even more than Apple'ów Airpods Pro 2.
Huawei new headphones support wide range codecs audio. Apart from the standard SBC, Aac We will also find here, offering almost lossless sound of the codec LDAC from Sony, which provides transmission parameters at 24-bit/96 kHz at a capacity of up to 990 kb/s. There is also an original codec L2HC in version 4.0, which provides even better bandwidth than LDAC (24-bit/48 kHz, up to 2.3 Mbps), however Only Huawei smartphone owners will benefit from it.
Freebuds 4 Pro are also great with reduction noise. In the AI Life application we have four different ANC modes to choose from, so we can decide how much we want to cut ourselves off from the noise of the environment. If we care about full cut -off, it is worth additionally replacing standard silicone covers with those made of memory foam.
I can't either mention the quality of audio during voice talks. Every day I use Airpods Pro 2 and I often hear from my interlocutors that I can hear me badly, or that I am drowned out by the sounds of the environment. Freebuds 4 falls a lot better in this matter. The voice is well audible and clear, and the noise from the background is properly suppressed.
Huawei Freebuds 4 Pro – what disappointed me the most?
As I have already noted, FreeBuds 4 Pro support the L2HC 4.0 codec. The problem is that only Huawei smartphone owners will benefit from his phenomenal bandwidth (at this moment it is only Huawei Mate X6), because the other models offer support only for its older version.
Owners other smartphones with Android So they will have to get around the taste. However, they are not at all in the worst situation, because they can still use high -quality LDAC codec. IPhone users are worse. They only remain Standard AAC codecwhich offers much worse parameters and capacity than LDAC, and even more so L2HC.
He also surprised me a bit factThat The manufacturer decided on the Bluetooth version 5.2, and not in the latest one, i.e. 5.3. During the tests I did not come across any problems with BT, but nevertheless support for the latest standard would be welcome here.
I put the last small minus for the AI Life application. APPKA itself fulfills its task and I have no major objections to it. I mean difficulties with its installation. In this accident However, they do not apply to iPhone users, but owners of smartphones with Android.
Application We will not find in the Play Store store. We must download it directly from Huawei in the form of APK. I realize that this is not Huawei's wine (the company still has a hard hill with Google), but I am allergic that the AI Life installation requires a few additional steps.

Huawei Freebuds 4 Pro build their predecessors on the success and offer everything that can be expected from True Wireless headphones in 2025. On this price shelf (they cost 749 PLN) of better “fleas” you will simply not find. It is a pity that one of the key distinguishing features of this device is only reserved for Huawei owners.
