From Monday, September 2nd you can submit conclusions in the sixth edition of the “Mój Prąd” program. Documents can be submitted until December 20 or until stocks run out budget. The latter will most likely happen sooner, given the popularity of previous editions. This time, there is 400 million PLN to be given away. My Electricity is a program to subsidize the construction of home photovoltaic installations and energy and heat storage facilities.

The subsidy for photovoltaic micro-installations, electricity storage and heat storage will cover up to 50%. costs qualified investments. The maximum amount is up to PLN 28 thousand.

The subsidy for photovoltaic installations without additional investment in the form of energy storage is PLN 6,000. Such funding will be paid only for installations reported for connection to the electricity grid by July 31, 2024. The subsidy for photovoltaic micro-installations in the case of investment also in an energy storage is up to PLN 7,000.

In order to obtain funding for PV installations reported for connection to the electricity grid, August 1st 2024, it is necessary to invest in an electricity storage facility and/or a heat storage facility. The power of such a photovoltaic installation can range from 2 kW to 20 kW.

The subsidy for a thermal energy storage with a minimum capacity of 20 dm3 is up to PLN 5,000, and for an electrical energy storage up to PLN 16,000. The capacity of the energy storage reported for subsidy should be at least 2 kWh.

Mandatory net billing

The subsidy will only be granted to prosumers who settle their accounts using the net-billing system or who document the transition to the new billing system if the micro-installation is settled using the net-metering system.

In five editions of the “Mój Prąd” program, a total of PLN 2.96 billion was allocated to co-finance prosumer investments. The National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management has already paid out over PLN 2.6 billion to 526 thousand prosumers.
