Head-on collision of two trucks on national road No. 25 in Płocicz (Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship). Both vehicles were off the road, grain spilled from the semi-trailer of one of them. The drivers were sober, nothing happened to them.

On Friday before 6 o’clock, the services received a report about a collision of two trucks on the national road No. 25 in Płocicz. Five fire engines were dispatched to the spot.

– Grain spilled from the semi-trailer of one of the cars onto the roadside. The other vehicle was carrying pallets of food. Our activities consisted in securing the scene and neutralizing the leakage of substances from cars. There were no injured people – said senior captain Robert Liss, press officer of the Poviat Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Sępólno Krajeńskie.

This information was confirmed in an interview with tvn24.pl by senior aspirant Małgorzata Warsińska, press officer of the Poviat Police Headquarters in Sępólno Krajeńskie.

– Driving from the direction of Kamień Krajeński, the driver of a Renault truck, for unexplained reasons, swerved to the opposite lane and collided with a Scania truck driving in the opposite direction. The Renault was driven by a 21-year-old resident of the Zakrzewo commune, while the Scania was driven by a 34-year-old resident of Biały Bór. Nothing happened to the drivers, they were sober – explained the police officer.

She added that the vehicles are currently off the road and there are no traffic problems at the moment. – However, they may occur later, when the cars are pulled out of the ditch – stressed Warsińska.
