On the national “7” behind Płońsk there was a head-on collision between BMW and Nissan. According to the services, the 51-year-old driver of the first car was killed. His child was hospitalized and she was driving a second car. After the accident, the road is blocked in two directions – the police take detours and warn that the inconvenience may take up to several hours.

The accident report was received by the services at 7 o’clock. – Two cars collided head-on on the national road number 7 near the village of Ćwiklinek. Three people were jammed in the vehicles, they had to be evacuated. In addition, one vehicle is in the ditch. There is a helicopter of the Polish Medical Air Rescue, two ambulances and the police – informs Janusz Majewski, spokesman of the Płońsk fire brigade.

He also gives the tragic news: – One of the people involved in the accident was pronounced dead by the doctor. The father, who was traveling with the child, died. His child was also taken to the hospital.


This information is confirmed by Kinga Drężek-Zmysłowska from the Płońsk police. – The BMW collided head-on with a Nissan. The vehicles also hit the Skoda. Unfortunately, despite the resuscitation, the life of the 51-year-old BMW driver could not be saved. A 13-year-old BMW passenger and a 42-year-old Nissan driver were also hospitalized, says the policewoman.

There are huge difficulties in traffic – the national “7” is blocked in two directions. – The inconvenience may take up to several hours. At the height of Płońsk, the policemen direct detours through Ciechanów or Płońsk. The tours were also organized at the height of Glinojeck, says Drężek-Zmysłowska.
