Heavy snowfall in Japan is associated with the influx of moist and cold air masses – meteorologists report. Some regions of the country, including the prefecture of Fukushima, Hokkaido and Niigata, are struggling with storms snowy, which led to communication paralysis. Many roads have been buried and the plowingers cannot keep up with snow removal.

The snowstorm, which hit the prefecture of Fukushima on Friday, caused that some roads became impassable. There were also many cars under the snow. Municipal services could not keep up with the removal of snow, which is why the residents took matters into their own hands and began to snow off the roads themselves.

– The weather this year is completely different than in previous years, the snow is raining all the time. The plow -ups were unable to pass, which is why the residents began to snow off their own. Many cars got stuck in the snow, and people get off their vehicles to help push them – said a resident of Fukushima Prefecture.

The winter attack also affected farmers. In the city of Aizuwakamatsu, which is famous for the cultivation of strawberries, there was considerable destruction associated with heavy rainfall. Greenhouses collapsed under the pressure of snow, which caused some of the seedlings cold.

– Snow has been raining here since February 4, and we snow snow it every night to late. Due to heavy snowfall, greenhouses collapsed on the night of February 6-6. As a result, we will have nothing to collect – said one of the farmers.
