The contract for missiles with a range of approximately 1,000 kilometers will be signed with the United States government. Deliveries are scheduled for 2026-2030. The Minister of Defense will sign the document on Tuesday Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz. The Ministry of National Defense announced this in a statement.

The JASSM AGM-158B ER air-to-ground missiles have a range nearly three times greater than the JASSM missiles currently armed with Polish F-16s. In March this year Department of State USA agreed to sell these missiles, as well as AIM-120C-8 AMRAAM and AIM-9X Sidewinder air-to-air missiles to Poland.
