From Thursday, the weather in Poland will change drastically, and we will have to pull out warm jackets again – warn synoptics. Due to the influx of arctic air masses from the north, the weather will resemble a cold, cloudy and rainy autumn in the coming days. Tomasz Wasilewski talked about the details about the details.
On Wednesday, thermometers in the western part of the country can show values above 21 degrees Celsius. Synoptics advise to make good use of this day, because from Thursday we have a drastic change of weather. Cold, arctic air masses will appear above Central and Eastern Europe. What's worse – our country will be in the epicenter of this cooling.
– This arctic cold from the north will flow perfectly to the center of Europe, stop at Poland, will be imprisoned here and will stay with us for many, many next days. A really big coolness awaits us – said the synoptic and weather presenter of TVNmeteo.pl Tomasz Wasilewski.
“Gray with low temperature”
The weather change will be drastic. On Thursday and Friday, the maximum temperature during the day will be only 8-9 degrees Celsius, i.e. about 10 degrees less compared to Wednesday.
– Add to this moist air, icy wind from the north and often falling rain (…) Please prepare for a kind of thermal shock. It will be a gray with low temperature – the expert emphasized and pointed out that at times the aura will resemble not spring, but autumn.
The latest meteorological models also indicate the possibility of snow rainfall – not only in the mountains, but also in the lowlands.
– It is possible that we will see single falling snowflakes – added Wasilewski.
The scale of the upcoming cooling is shown by data on temperature anomaly (deviations from the norm), which on Saturday in Poland will be -8 degrees Celsius – the most in Europe.

What weather for the day of election
Current forecasts indicate that the cold will remain over our country at least until the middle of next week.
– It will be a variable, wet and cool weather. This is not a temporary cooling, it is not a trivial thing, but a serious and long -lasting cold – said the expert.
Synoptics advise to take an umbrella with them for Sunday voting in the presidential election. On Sunday, rainfall is forecast, and the maximum temperature will oscillate around 13-15 degrees Celsius.
