Poland proposes a mission in the Baltic Sea. Donald Tusk announces

In addition to the announcement regarding the organization of a joint mission to patrol the Baltic Sea, the Polish Prime Minister also talked about energy security.

– We are planning huge investments when it comes to offshore wind farms, I think that here in Sweden I do not have to explain how important it is for energy security – said Donald Tusk, pointing out that energy issues also translate into security in general.

– Security, resilience and Ukraine. These will be our priorities also during our presidency, emphasized the head of the Polish government. Earlier, Tusk emphasized that Poland and the Nordic and Baltic countries have good traditions when it comes to joint activities in the field of defense and armaments.

Prime Minister Donald Tusk arrived in Sweden on Wednesday morning to take part in a summit with the heads of government of the Baltic and Nordic countries – Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Iceland, Finland, Denmark, Sweden and Norway.

The purpose of the visit was, among others, signing a new strategic partnership agreement, which is to update the provisions from 2011.
