EU funds have finally been unlocked, which means we can now use them for various projects. So how can we reach for them? We advise you what steps you should take to obtain money and use it effectively to implement your ideas.
How to submit an application for funding under the KPO?
Poland has already submitted three payment applications for a total of PLN 67.5 billion. Everyone will have a chance to benefit from these funds. On website of the National Reconstruction Plan lists of recruitment are available divided into recipients: entrepreneurs, NGOs, scientific units, natural persons, local governments and public administration.
They started in October new recruitments as part of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (KPO). Financing can be obtained, among others: for energy modernization of schools, construction of apartments taking into account energy efficiency, development of Clinical Research Support Centers or construction infrastructure of hospitals. There are currently several dozen competitions active.
All recruitment announcements are available at European Funds Portal and on the website KPO. You can receive millions, and sometimes even billions of zlotys for their implementation. For example, large enterprises can receive PLN 1.3 billion in the form of a loan to limit final energy consumption, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, by investing in energy efficiency and renewable energy sources.

Detailed information about competitions can also be found on the websites of individual ministries or other public institutions that announce competitions. The speech includes: about the Medical Research Agency or the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management. You can even subscribe to the newsletter, which will keep you updated about calls for applications.
There are also European Funds Information Points in many cities. We can find them in every provincial city, including: in Kielce, GdańskBydgoszcz, Kraków, Łódź, Olsztyn and Opole (there are as many as 52 such points in total). They employ experts who will provide free advice on how to prepare application for funding under the KPO or tell them about training, courses and loans that are available under EU funds.
The effects of the implementation of the National Reconstruction Plan are already starting to be visible. From EU funds, among others: over 223 thousand houses signed contracts for installing renewable energy sources or thermal modernization, over PLN 240,000 was spent. vouchers on laptops for teachers, over 1,000 enterprises were established that devote their profits to social purposes, and contracts were signed to eliminate 125 black spots on the roads.
