A lot of consciousness – it is worth instilling good habits at the youngest
40 percent Poles admitted that they had once received a gift “from the second hand”. What do we think about it? According to the study carried out by SW Research on behalf of OLX [1]most of us are happy and they don't mind such gifts.
What does this say about us? Many good! We are more and more aware of how daily choices will influence the environment. Segregation of the flash, limiting plastic, buying local products, fashion for clothes or a second hand equipment, electromobilism – all this is becoming more and more popular. Being eco is not only a trend, but a real need. I am able to realize it, so it's time to teach children. The approaching communion season is a great opportunity to instill the youngest good habits.
At second hand
From the CBOS test [2] It follows that Poles more and more often buy ± from the second handle equipment and household appliances. The first place comes first with clothing and footwear (73 percent of respondents), but the re -commerce is evolving all the time. And we as more ecologically open ourselves to buy from the second hand not only for ourselves, but also for others.
Why? It is primarily a perfect alternative for people who are looking for attractive and unique gifts at a favorable price. The used electronics in the youngest gift is also an element of ecological education that will pay off in the future. When a child receives a used tablet or phone, he will find that it is still an efficient equipment. You can watch fairy tales or write messages to friends. And we will additionally gain the opportunity to talk about how many natural resources are used in the production of electronics, how electro -work is created and how to limit their production.
When deciding to buy electronics from the second hand, especially when it is to be sent as a gift, it is worth especially to check its technical condition, appearance and possible guarantees. In the case of a telephone, tablet or other device that we intend to convey to someone as a gift, responsibility for choosing the good quality of the equipment is even more – the recipient will be able to use what we chose. That is why it is so important to make sure that the device purchased is functional, neat and in accordance with the description of the selling.
In such a situation, it is worth using open services that introduce the solution to increasing transaction safety. An example can be the OLX protective package, which gives buying additional safeguards and certainly that the purchase will go smoothly.

OLX protects the transaction at each step. Buying can directly contact with the selling – in detail to ask about the goods and even meet. The transaction ceases to be anonymous. This is a huge advantage of the website. OLX enables the experience of buying online with buying in a traditional model.
How did this work in practice? However, when the package is not injected or the package is empty, the buying one has 24 hours to report the problem and use the protective package option. The procedure begins with the click “I have a problem” button. Then buying can choose two ways. The first of these is the report of the application directly to the selling. If he accepts the refund, and the object buying the object and receives a refund, the procedure ends. The second is the report of the event – also within 24 hours after receiving the parcel – to the OLX team, which is suggested in the case of an empty package.
As the olx explains in the regulations, not compliance with the goods, for example: divergence between the object and the opening (title, description, photos of the goods, its type, number, functionality). Therefore, when shopping, it is worth choosing the OLX shipment, which is devastated by a protective package.
Let's remember that when we ordered electronics, for example a camera, the battery or boat should be compatible. When they do not match or simply do not, it is different than assured the selling, we have the right to return the goods. Of course, if before the transaction is concluded, we decided to send olx with a protective package.
Cheap, ecologically – better
The production of new electronics uses huge amounts of energy, water and raw materials. Buying on olx, we limit the demand for new devices, and thus: we reduce emission what?, We save rare metals (example: lithium, cobalt, gold). In addition, laptops, smartphones or tablets are often several dozen percent of the percentage, and they still remain in a long condition.
It is worth choosing gifts from a huge pool of items from the second hand and take care of the environment – also looking for gifts on the occasion of First Communion. If we buy the use of electronics for a gift, it is best to use websites that protect the interests of both sides of the transaction, as Olx does. The website constantly introduces modern solutions, which is aimed at better protection for both buying and selling.
