Prosecutors within the violent northern state of Sonora stated Tuesday they’re looking for a full-grown Bengal tiger named Baluma. They stated the 5-year-old male tiger was stolen Monday from a house within the state capital, Hermosillo.

They stated the house owners had the correct paperwork wanted to maintain the animal.

Prosecutors distributed images of the large cat resting in its cage alongside a canine, hoping residents will telephone police in the event that they see the tiger.
