Polish Armaments Group. The entire management board of PGZ was dismissed

The current management board of Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa was dismissed. Sebastian Chwałek resigned from the position of president. Tomasz Siemiątkowski took over as the acting president of the company.

Jacek Matuszak, spokesman for Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa, announced that on Tuesday, by decision of the supervisory board, the current management board of PGZ was dismissed.

– This means that Sebastian Chwałek was dismissed from the position of president of the management board, Krzysztof Sola from the position of vice-president, and Jakub Roszkowski and Marcin Wierzchowski from the position of members of the management board – said Matuszak. Defence24 was the first to report the dismissal of the PGZ management board.

Interim president of PGZ

As the company’s spokesman added, the supervisory board decided to temporarily entrust the duties of the president of the management board of PGZ to Tomasz Siemiątkowski. – He will perform these duties for a maximum of three months – he said.

Siemiątkowski is a member of the supervisory board of PGZ. The company’s new supervisory board was appointed last week.

Tomasz Siemiątkowski is a lawyer and economist.

The spokesman also informed that in the near future the supervisory board will announce competitions for the positions of president and members of the management board of PGZ.

Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa is a capital group that brings together several dozen industrial plants, service facilities and research centers that are key to the Polish defense industry.

These include, among others: The “Łucznik” Weapons Factory located in Radom, the Stalowa Wola Steelworks, where Krab gun howitzers are produced, and the Bumar-Łabędy plant in Gliwice.

The main client of PGZ is Ministry of National Defence.
