It would be a little higher if she had not made a clear mistake when landing. He probably won't forgive him. And the judges punished her: she got very low notes for style, only 42 points in total.
In the second series, although Bełtowska found great conditions, she was not able to use them. At the wind blowing an average of 1.38 meters per second, she landed on the 84th meter. It was enough to finally be the 16th player. In real terms, the Polish woman was able to afford the result in the top ten competitions, but she would have to make jumps at the level of the best from the World Cup.

The gold medal of the SMJ will go to Norway. Ingvild Synoeve Midtskogen was second to none at the Olympic facility – it flew at 96 and 97 meters, crushing her rivals. Already after the first series, it was a lot from the opponents, and in principle you could finish the competition, at least in terms of the Golden MS. Ultimately, Midtskogen won up to 32 points with an advantage. The podium was complemented by Ingrid Laate (90 and 94 meters), a Norwegian combinator from Norway, as well as Slovenian Taja Bodlaj (91.5 and 89.5 meters). The defender of the title of Tina Erzar from Slovenia to the podium ran out of two points, it was fourth.
The fight for medals in Lake Placid turned into a drama for a moment. The second after the first round of the Norwegian Kjersti competition, the game fell when landing after a jump at 93 meters. She did not keep his balance and suffered with him enough that she left the medical service. It seems that she could experience knee injury. The competition finished in seventh position. In the first series, her sister's fall – Ingrid played. He looked much worse, because the player already had problems in the air, she touched her in the flight, but she got up and left the jump on her own.
Gold Midtskogen is the first medal of the Norwegian jumper at the Junior World Championships since theaa Minyan Bjoerseth won the title four years ago in Lahti. It seems that Midtskogen – a 17 -year -old who is already regularly scoring in the World Cup – will soon become a discipline star. He has a great technique, trains in a strong staff, but he needs a lot of peace so that he does not lose the pace of his development in the coming months and years.
