The government is working on the final version of the draft tax act from the Polish Deal, said the spokesman of the Council of Ministers, Piotr Mueller. He added that the government plans to adopt the final draft in this matter in the first half of September.
The Polish Order is a new socio-economic program for the post-pandemic period, endorsed by the parties forming the United Right. The Ministry of Finance published at the end of July a draft tax act that is part of the Polish Deal.
Tax changes in the Polish Lada – when is the final project?
Mueller recalled that public consultations regarding the Polish Deal tax project ended at the end of August. He noted that all submitted comments were analyzed on an ongoing basis.
He also indicated that Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki met on Thursday with members of the management of the Ministry of Finance, during which the details of the amendments were discussed and which ones would be taken into account.

Polish Order – Proposals

Tax changes – Lewiatan Confederation criticizes
On the last day of consultation The Confederation Lewiatan indicated in the announcementthat “employers are opposed to the new measures and urge the government to abandon proposals aimed at increasing taxation and contributions to entrepreneurs and employees.”
Lewiatan sent a 75-page position on this matter to the Ministry of Finance. The organization warned that the proposals are “the largest ever tax increase for entrepreneurs and those most involved in building the Polish economy.”
