WARSAW, Poland — Polish street transport authorities have been holding talks Wednesday with their Ukrainian counterparts over competitors grievances which have led Polish truckers to dam two border crossings, leading to days of delays.

Polish truckers say that unregulated exercise by quickly rising Ukrainian transport firms is ruining their enterprise. After Russia’s invasion in February 2022, Ukraine has an elevated want for imports and exports.

Polish truckers need official permissions to be required of Ukrainian transport corporations. Poland’s Infrastructure Ministry says such rules would come underneath the European Union as a result of Poland’s border with Ukraine is an EU border.

Talks have been being held between transport representatives in Poland’s japanese metropolis of Chelm.

Polish truckers are limiting the passage of vehicles on the crossings in Dorohusk and Hrebenne, the place the wait time now lasts virtually two weeks.
