Tuesday was the first day of online sales of coal from PGG under the new rules – since then, the raw material is available in the e-shop twice a week: on Tuesdays and Thursdays, instead of – as before – every day. 25,000 tons of coal was sold in six hours
“During yesterday’s session, a record amount of goods was also sent for sale to customers – a total of over 25 thousand tons. The sales session began at 4 p.m. and lasted over six hours, until the daily stock was exhausted” – spokesman of Polska Grupa Górnicza, Tomasz told PAP. Głogowski.

Currently, the entire daily production of heating coal for households is directed to sale in three distribution channels: through the PGG online store, directly in mines and through authorized coal depots in various parts of Poland.
“We are constantly working on improving the functionality of the store, implementing new solutions. The interest of customers is enormous – only yesterday, at its peak, over 103,000 users tried to make a purchase” – said the spokesman for PGG.

PGG is the largest domestic producer of coal – also heating coal, used, inter alia, in by households. From 11 March this year, in addition to bagged eco-pea coal, in the company’s online store, you can also buy loose heating coal with its own collection in mines, at a price even three times lower than at middlemen. Demand is enormous – greater than the availability of coal. Until now, it often happened that the e-shop website was unavailable or coal could not be bought at the moment.
