Passengers from Pomiechówek and Skierniewice can buy tickets for Koleje Mazowieckie trains at new points. These are Kolporter’s newsagents, which are located near the stations mentioned above. Only single tickets can be purchased there.
Until now, tickets for traveling by KM trains could be purchased, e.g. at ticket offices, vending machines, on the website or via mobile applications: Koleje Mazowieckie, mPay or SkyCash.
As announced on Monday by Koleje Mazowieckie, travelers from Skierniewice and Pomiechówek have a new option of stationary purchase of tickets in Kolporter’s press lounges. In Pomiechówek they can be purchased at 11/1 Modlińska Street, and in Skierniewice at 1 Dworcowa Street.
– The above-mentioned points sell single KM tickets for travel “there” or “there and back” only from/to the station or stop from which the journey begins, i.e. Pomiechówek or Skierniewice – explained Donata Nowakowska, spokeswoman for Koleje Mazowieckie in a press release.
Will railwaymen launch such sales in other cities? – This is a pilot program, so we will observe interest and ticket sales in Pomiechówek and Skierniewice – Donata Nowakowska clarified in an interview with tvnwarszawa.pl. She added that if the results are promising, it is possible to extend the program to other points in different cities.
