It was said that he undertook to bring order in the church. He started to do it – said priest Adam Boniecki in “Facts after Facts”, remembering Pope Francis. According to the priest, nobody before the deceased Holy Father “did not bother so firmly” in evil in the church.
On Monday Vatican informed about the death of Pope Francis. The bishop of Rome was 88 years old. He died during recovery after severe pneumonia.
In “Facts after Facts” on TVN24 Fr. Adam Boniecki, editor of the Senior of Tygodnik Powszechny, shared his reflections on the deceased Holy Father and his pontificate. When asked about what would be most important at the moment, he replied briefly that “what would be on the other side.” – Man enters into unknowns. Maybe the popes know a little, but it is not certain. It really goes into the dark – he added.
The priest also remembered the meeting with Francis. He admitted that he met “the Pope completely different”. – It is very important to know that the popes are different. They are unlike each other at all. And this one was very human – he said.
Boniecki: Nobody before Francis woven so firmly in the church
– I followed his pontificate very much and I think this is a breakthrough pontificate. From that time, various things will count – said Fr. Boniecki. He added, however, that 12 years “this is not enough time”.
According to the priest, “Francis' greatness was that he did not strive for it” to change everything. “Only he did what is to do,” he supplemented. The priest also said that nobody before Francis “did not swung so firmly” to evil in the church.
– He came, so was said in well -informed wheels, I don't know if he was truly that he pledged some order in the church. Either way, he did it – said Fr. Boniecki.
