Shortly after the funeral, his cat disappeared unexpectedly, but after a few months he found himself in the necropolis. It turned out that he lived at the tomb of his deceased owner.

The cat had to go home
Trued with a meeting with a four -legged pet, the granddaughter of the deceased guardian, Susana Vilar, decided to respect the animal's decision and leave him in the cemetery where Garfield became a mascot of necropolis employees.
Garfield, who accompanied him in his suffering during the last months of his master's life, but he needed medical care in recent weeks. According to Susana Vilar, cited by CM television, the animal was attempted to poison this spring.
“After trying to hurt him, it would be better for everyone if Garfield returns to his family home,” Vilar said, adding that, apart from the memories of the cemetery, the cat gained a new nickname prince there. – Now we call him Prince Garfield – summed up the new guardian of the animal.
